I guess it makes sense that shoot day #13 might start out with some problems, which it did – first of all my friend had a to play a show so I couldn’t shoot the scene I’d been planning so I had to run around and complete last weeks work with those scarred “villagers.” Lemmie came back and did another fantastic make-up job. Also, I completed some crucial shots of Paul listening intently the output of this strange “cylinder player,” which is the futuristic equivalent of a wax or steel cylinder player only it uses lasers to read the data from a shiny, small cylinder.
