A feature-length project to be shot in HD, 16mm and Super-8.
Production begins March 2008 in the Pensacola / Northwest Florida area.

Synopsis:

In a post-apocalyptic world 200 years from now, a young man living in a decaying wreck of a cabin in the woods struggles to come to terms with his bleak existence while trying to save his mother from a strange, deathless existence.

Available Roles:

PAUL - The lead role, a young man living alone in a deadly futuristic world who attempts to uncover the secrets of his shadowy past.

HELEN – a young woman– Paul’s mother, who is strangely the same age as her son because she’s become lost in this futuristc “life cult” which keeps her from aging while she remains
in a daze.

HAROLD – an older man – Paul’s only friend in this strange world.

YOUNG PAUL – 5-10 years old – the younger version of Paul.

EXTRAS - Other smaller extras are available for older men and women along with children ages 5-12 years

This is a strictly non-union, low-key, seat-of-your pants independent operation. Lead and supporting roles will be paid positions but the shooting schedule will be short and efficiently-managed so if you're interested you should make sure you're up for the challenge. A small number of technical / production assistant positions will also needed for the shoot.
